We Just got engaged! How do I get started?

This is how it works.

Step 1

Establish your Venue first. Once you know, with absolute certainty, Where and When you will be married then you can move forward to the services needed for your special day.

Step 2

Find the right services and catering for your wedding. This is where my job certainly comes into play as an entertainer and the atmosphere for the evening. But good food, Amazing Photos and Flowers are all pretty important on their own as well.

Step 3

If you are interested in HP Soundcraft as your DJ. We can first check to see if I have that date available. If so, then we can do an over the phone consultation to see if I am the right DJ for you. We can talk about the music you two enjoy as well as, what your family wants to hear. We can also cover what my services provide and give me a chance to see what you envision on your wedding day.

Step 4

After the Consultation, you can decide whether you want to book me. If you do, I just need to draw up a contract and I require a $300 deposit subtracted from your quoted total.

We will setup another meeting, a week prior to the event to go over the discussed music and any changes.

Special Songs/Formal Dances/Games to consider

  • Pre-ceremony Music

15-20 min before the ceremony begins. I generally suggest Vitamin String Quartet renditions of current pop or VSQ renditions of music that fits what you two dig.

  • Precessional

Song for when the groom and Wedding party walk

  • Bridal walk

Song for when the Bride and Father figure walk down the Isle

  • Recessional

Song at the end of the ceremony for when the Bride and Groom walk back up the Isle

  • Grand Entrance

Song for when the Bride and Groom enter the room accompanied by an Introduction from myself or separate MC ( I suggest a song with DYNAMIC and powerful energy.)

  • First Dance

The First dance only between Bride and Groom, A Romantic song that both of you connect to.

  • Father Daughter

a dance for the Bride and Father/Step Father/Father Figure there are certainly songs that represent the situation perfectly, I can help.

  • Mother Son

Dance for Groom and his Mom/Step Mom/Mother Figure

  • Bouquet and Garter

You can choose a song for these, if you don’t want “all the single ladies” and “U can’t touch this”. I do happen to see a lot of very different variations to this if you aren’t sure if you want to do the bouquet/garter ritual, I’ve seen some pretty cool ideas that are a little less.. invasive.

  • Cake Cutting

a song for when you are cutting cake. Doesn’t have to be romantic, could just be “Cake by the ocean” from DNCE, or something sweet.

  • Last Dance

Song for your last dance. I like to pair this directly next to the Grand Exit because it give everyone else a chance to get the bubbles or sparklers ready and empties the room for your last dance of the evening.

  • Grand Exit

or “Send Off”. A song I will play as you exit underneath the sparklers or bubbles. Signed, sealed and delivered (Stevie wonder) or At last (Etta James) work here. sometimes there is a Faux exit, so you get the pictures as if your leaving, but you hadn’t paid the photographer for that much time so do the faux exit and get back and party. I’m here for whichever you decide.

  • Shoe Game

the shoe game is where the Bride and Groom sit back to back in chairs on the dancefloor with their shoes off. In each hand they will have one of their shoes and one of their partners shoes. I will ask you 10 to 12 questions usually written by the Maid of Honor and sent to my Email. I will ask.. Who has the smelliest feet? and you will raise the shoe who you think that most reflects. It’s a little cheesy but it is pretty fun.

  • Photo Dash

I will play a song and in that song, the Bride and Groom will race around the room to take a picture with every table. You end up with funny pictures in the end and no one getting left out.
